Raqs baladi yani "belly dancing" or "oriental dancing" in English. Even though I didn't get to do this in Egypt, where it came from, it was still a lot of fun! A girl from Princess Sumaya University of Technology, the school we meet with for cultural dialogues, set it up for us at her gym. It was like Zumba, but with Arabic pop music and traditional belly dancing music!
You would have loved it, Mom! Man, I was exhausted afterwards though. We are going to have Rana set up another class for the group! I wish I had known about this when I first got to Jordan.
